This case was reported to us by bugsfic, it concerns a writer in the Battlestar Galactica Adama/Roslin fandom called Charlotte2323 and her various possible identities. This case was reported by email because there was a mix up with the moderation queue. Under the cut is a C and P of the email I recieved.

This case was brought to our attention on the 10th May 2010, the initial post can be found here it contains the correspondence between muffiewrites and tymbur as well as the screencaps muffiewrites took before part of the story was locked.

I am hesitant to bring this up because am unsure if the community should still deal with the issue. On the 30th of April, I noticed a passage in a story that was copied from WillJ's story The Warriors. I immediately contacted WillJ and waited for a response. stangerine88 brought this case to our attention on the 5th of January.  The ff.net user  'Im-Crazy-Like-That' was accused of plagiarizing stories by stangerine88 and belyste.  Shortly after stangerine88 contacted 'Im-Crazy-Like-That' and submitted her report to us the stories were pulled, removed (I presume) by 'Im-Crazy-Like-That'.  stangerine88 managed to get screen caps of her stories, I have ( Read more... )

On Jaunary 5th, an anonymous commenter let me know that someone on fanficiton.net had posted two of my fanfics as their own.  The author in question is 'Im-Crazy-Like-That'.

This is my first case of a story of mine being plagiarised, so I didn't handle some things as well as I probably should have. This morning I found a comment on a story of mine from ihavetodowhat .
